We aspire to improve public health by researching the health benefits of herbs and spices. The McCormick Science Institute (MSI) provides funding for independent research, published in reputable peer-reviewed scientific journals, which in recent years has included the impact of herbs and spices on metabolic health and their use in supporting the consumption of healthier meals. In 2024, in collaboration with Pennsylvania State University, MSI supported the creation of online nutritional information videos designed to instruct the public on how the use of herbs and spices can improve diet quality.
